We have grouped the footpaths in different sections, according to geographical criteria:

The Vall d'Albaida region is surrounded by a series of sierras with which it has close links. These sierras are the perfect scene for the practice of different sports and are also remarkable spaces where we can find a whole series of natural, botanical and patrimonial resources. You can enjoy all these resources thanks to the numerous footpaths.

You must take into account the following indications:

  • Follow the marked footpaths
  • Both light a fire and free camping are not allowed
  • Place the rubbish in the bins
  • Respect nature and avoid making noise that could be harmful to the native fauna
  • Do not forget to bring enough water supply and suitable clothes and shoes for the mountains; and of course, do not forget your camera!

Signposting of paths

The GR, PR and SL are the approved footpaths. There are international regulations about the signposting of the footpaths which classify them at European level. The rest of the paths have been signposted by the Town Councils.

GR - Long Distance Footpaths: route of more than 50 km

PR - Short Distance Footpaths: route from 10 to 50 km

SL - Local Footpaths: route of less than 10 km
