If you are a fan of Nino Bravo, you should visit Aielo de Malferit, the town where he was born and which dedicates him a room in the new Town Hall to honour his figure. It is a temple full of personal effects, private and public photographs, suits, the discography of the artist for collectors, cuttings of newspapers, etc. The whole of these items are donations from the First Meeting of Fans organized by the Town Council.
“Ací es pot palpar a Nino” (“Here you can feel Nino”) can be read on the visitors' book. Their comments are very explicit as they talk about the feelings that the whole of this exhibition arouses. You can also visit the different rooms of the new Town Council, which is set up in the castle-palace of Mr and Mrs Malferit (declared Site of Cultural Interest by the Generalitat). The renovation of the building combines very skilfully the restoration of the original structures from the 15th, 18th and 19th centuries, and the present need of the local infrastructures.
