Located to the right of the river Clariano, the Molí Descals is already mentioned in 1415. After almost five centuries, the mill still survives and has been working until 1972. Today is the summer residence of the old millers, who receive the public and explain them the running and mechanism of the different elements. The mill still has the wheel, two millstones, the hopper, the “limpia” (where the grain was rinsed out before being grind) and the machine that classified the flour according to its size. After the visit to this mill and thanks to the explanations of its kind owners, the process of turning grain into flour will not be a secret any more.
