Castelló de Rugat, also known as Castelló de les Gerres, is a town that has decided to meet again its origins: the clay, in this case. The Town Council has promoted a space of new construction that reminds the architecture of traditional brick factories.

The Museum-Workshop has a rectangular ground plan, however, it is not simply a building. The ceiling reproduces the classic vaults made with firebricks: a solid, handmade brick in reddish and orangey colours due to the fire used to make it. The floor reflects these tonalities as well. The stained glass windows, by artist J. Sanjuan from Albaida, give a pure, clear and pacifying brightness to the place. This space is thought to be a place to disseminate traditional heritage and favour new ways of creation.

This visit can be finished with a trip around a brick factory of the town, which opens its doors to know the different manufacturing processes of this product.
